Good morning campers. Yes it has been too long since I have posted . Thus the topic of today. PROCRASTINATION. Actually, my problem was not procrastination but rather an out of sight out of mind problem. I just did not think about my blog. I had gotten in the habit of doing at least one post weekly. Well, I missed a week then another and the rest is history.
How often do we as humans do that? I have a number of patients that start out like a house on fire. They are excited about their care . They are in less pain and are more productive. Yet, as they get used to this new world order, they begin to take it for granted. Its amazing how quickly we do that. Sure enough, the next time I see them, it has been a year or over and they are vowing to never let that happen again. But too often it does.
That is where the art of what we do comes in. It is certainly not my responsibility to go to your house and drag you to our clinic. Even if being here is the right thing to do. BUT it is my responsibility to make you aware enough and “hungry” enough to follow through with regular chiropractic care. That is why I have this blog. That is why I have a patient orientation class. That is why our clinic is set up the way it is with posters etc.
Let me encourage you not only to be more regular with your chiropractic care but also in many other areas of your life. There are a number of tricks you can use to keep on task. Reminder notes, doing things at the same time, and with the new technology, cell phone alerts. Its out there for you, JUST DO IT !!!!!
I have seen a sad sight on my travels recently. On more than one occasion I have seen a dead bird on the road. These birds were obviously hit by passing vehicles. Think about that for a minute. These birds can fly over and light on 99% of all they survey, and yet by choice [...]

Vitalism. Now what is that? Vitalism is the very basics of health. It is good food, clean water, and exercise. Some even will include right thought and habits. So, vitalism is just good healthy living. That’s easy to say but evidently, hard to do. Obesity is rampant, in adults and children. We see ads for [...]

What’s interesting [...]
